In 2003, CHG established Sichuan Hope Deepblue Energy & Chemical Industry Corp., Ltd., (SHDEC), the management company of the Group’s Energy & Chemical Division and further comprising of a total of eleven subsidiaries, such as Maoxian Electric Power Company, Hope Deepblue Hydropower Development Company and Hope Deepblue Power & Salt Industry Company.

In 2007, our Sodium Chlorate (NaClO3) was ranked No.1 in China in terms of both sales volume and sales revenue. It is recommended by our clients to have “high purity, large scale, good credibility and reliable supply”. Understanding that the sodium chlorate industry needs great electric power that accounts for over 60% of the total production cost, the Groups has invested in our own hydropower business (linked to Deepblue Energy) to achieve total annual production of 150,000 tons in the near future, becoming one of China’s largest sodium chlorate manufacturers. The major application of our product is to make Chlorine Dioxide and CIO2, and approximately 90% is use for pulp bleaching, water treatment, fireworks and PCB etching solutions. Our clientele spans across the world – China, India, South Korea, Singapore and more.
